They are made of deerskin- they are the most comfortable house shoes and have a very flattering fit on the foot. If heavy outdoor use is preferred, a thin layer of rubber can be adhered to the bottom by a cobbler. Soft cushion insole. Handmade in Canada. They fit true to size, half sizes size up.
